What information we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect: your name, phone number, property address, and a description of your project. We also automatically record: the page you submitted from, the date and time, your IP country (not your specific IP), your browser user-agent, and any UTM parameters or click identifiers (gclid, msclkid) attached to the URL you arrived from.

How we use it

We use this information for one purpose: to route your quote request to one licensed heat pump installer in your province who has capacity for new work. The installer uses your contact details to send you a written quote within 24 hours.

Who we share it with

One licensed installer per quote request — never multiple bidders. We do not sell your information to lead aggregators. We do not share your information with marketers or advertisers. We retain your contact info for our own follow-up purposes (one or two emails to confirm whether you received the quote and accepted it) and to operate the platform.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages of the site are useful and which aren\'t. GA4 sets first-party cookies that anonymize your IP. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets cookies if you arrived from a Google Ads click. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to any site content — the quote form works without cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@heatpumpinstallationcanada.ca. We will respond within 30 days. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to this site.
